Kate bombers launched from the Japanese carriers Kaga and Hiryu on the attack on
Pearl Harbor. Three bombs that hit the ship were not critical, but a lucky
strike to behind the turret No.4 ignited the forward magazines of the ship,
which exploded, killing most of the crew. The Arizona rests as a memorial to all
lost in the vicious attack.
